Exploring the Spiritual and Divine Dimensions

Published: 09th April 2014 07:36 AM

Now Suta Muni tells us a great secret. When the ritual is complete in Naimisha Aranya, Devi says, “May my Chaitanya Shakti’s Shakti always be with you.” Saying this she gives all the Sages a piece of red cloth as Her Prasada. In the kali yuga, every two days, our level of Chaitanya Shakti is coming down. That is why we feel tired and depleted of energy more quickly as days pass. So, from today all of you should keep a red kerchief or piece of cloth with a little zari (gold thread work) with you. This should be bright cherry red and not a maroonish shade. This colour is also called ‘post office red’. The kerchief can be any material like silk, cotton, synthetic fabrics, satin etc. It is enough if it is even five inches by five inches in size. Men should keep it in their right pockets and women should keep it in their hand bags. When men wear veshti or dhoti, they can tuck it into their waist. Every day touch this cloth once reverently and say, ‘Om Lalitha Tripurasundaryei Namaha’. Get  this by Durgashtami at the latest. All kinds of Shakti will flow to you from this–Viveka Shakti, Iccha Shakti, Jnana Shakti, Kriya Shakti, Jagrata Shakti, Shravana Shakti (power of discrimination, will power, comprehension power, power of action, power of awareness, art of listening)…the list is endless. Let us all chant mother’s mantra without fail tonight. It is our offering of  gratitude to Her for all the grace that she is constantly showering upon us. When you chant her name with devotion and dedication, but without any expectations, you will experience a miracle in the material, divine and spiritual realms of you lives tomorrow. May all of you be rejuvenated, recharged, re-infused and revitalised by the chaitanya of the divine mother. May a feeling of physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing overflow from you. May all beings be happy. Jai Mata. Om Tat Sat.
