Improve Hearing Power By Yoga
It is said by a yoga teacher that by practicing each day a simple chant and a yoga exercise known as yawning, hearing loss can be helped. The chant makes use of a mantra that is a sound usually used in yoga meditation. To perform this exercise, you should be comfortably seated on a chair and start to breathe deeply. While you exhale, you should repeat one of the phrases loudly. Let the last note be held and the vibrations felt. It is suggested that you practice this exercise for two to three minutes daily.
It has been shown by studies that those who suffer from low hearing also have nutritional deficiencies. Therefore, make sure to consume foods that are rich in vitamin D as it helps absorb calcium, which is necessary for strong bones. A low level of vitamin D brings about osteopenia, which is a condition of the bones in the ears becoming porous. Also, be sure to consume foods rich in folic acid and vitamin B12.

Practicing the different postures of yoga can help provide the neck with a good workout. By practicing yoga regularly, you can improve hearing.
Performing some breathing exercises can also be very effective in increasing the supply of blood to different parts of the body. Performing sessions of deep breathing for 20 minutes daily can help bring improvement to your hearing. An exercise called Yawning in yoga can help with hearing loss. Supplements that contain zinc and magnesium are considered to restore ear stability and help resolve the hearing problem. You should also make sure that your ears are clear of ear wax as it can interfere with hearing.

If you're hearing has been a relatively recent issue, get a closer look by a doctor to detect underlying reasons that maybe causing it. Yoga as an alternative treatment or secondary form of therapy can greatly benefit you in improving your hearing. However, as a second line of treatment it needs to be approved by a medical practitioner in accordance with your primary form of treatment. Never attempt to take matters in your own hands without the advice and consultation of a qualified medical doctor. It can prove to be dangerous and the long run or make even put other internal organs at risk. Once your doctor has cleared the problem, you could ask for yoga to become an alternative form of treatment. They can be a number of factors causing hearing troubles such as ear infection, side-effects of some drugs, temporary hearing loss due to high decibel levels, tinnitus, etc. In order to draw any of these causes you will need to clear your doubts by a doctor.
The vision and hearing of an individual is largely dependent on the eyes and ears that receive an excellent supply of blood to the nerves in these two organs. The blood vessels and the nerves that supply blood to the eyes and ears go across or through the neck. Due to stressful lifestyles and hectic schedule sometimes the neck becomes inflexible, and due to this condition the blood supply from the nerves to the eyes and ears become restricted. When the supply of blood is low to the organs, impairment is caused in the functioning of these organs thus affecting their capacity. The positions and poses in yoga help to exercise the neck and enhanced the present condition. Through regular exercise of yogasanas, better eyesight and improved hearing can take place. It is possible that the deficiency in zinc may be causing the problem of decreased hearing. Ensure that you get the right amount of zinc in your diet through nutritional supplements or food such as seafood and lean meat. Supplements containing magnesium and zinc are known to restore stability to the ear, and helping to resolve the problem of hearing.
Deep breathing techniques or Pranayama is highly recommended to boost the supply of blood to the various parts in the body. A daily schedule of deep breathing sessions for at least 20 minutes will reveal positive results to all the parts of the body, especially an improvement in the hearing. One particular exercise in yoga known as yawning can help to fight the loss of hearing.count),
