south Indian Foodie like me, FOOD KARMA is the
perfect quencher! Right from the intriguing name of the restaurant to
the unique ingredients used in the beautifully put together menu, Food
Karma makes the whole eating experience so earthy and pleasant. Living
with a frame of mind that healthy food can seldom taste good, this
restaurant stands out with its millet based variety food that is simply
delicious and healthy with absolutely no after food - uneasiness! Thenai Idiyappam, kurma and keerai vada! Great going!
A small but inviting place! the ambience is homely & cozy.. the traditional setting concept comes as a welcome change..! it was cheap, healthy, and tasty! the food doesn't make you feel heavy.. even after gorging on the yummy vadas which were fried in coconut oil! the soups given in the evenings are very tasty and the sukku coffee is just the best!
spotted a small quaint black board with a list of items listed out whilst taking a detour to go to Elliotts beach. Scribbled below in tamil and English, sukku kaapi caught my attention.for Rs.10 most divine sukku kaapi, replete with palm sugar. breakfast The food is prepared with varieties of millets and seasame oil and has a lovely homely feel. The seating is on wooden benches and the staff are very courteous. Peanut Sundal served for tea in the evening is sumptuous and has the right dose of punch. Healthy veg soups are also available. Their tag line says you are what you eat, but food karma for me has changed what I eat.
