Ekam Foundation, an NGO, as part of the celebrations, has begun its
massive cleaning operation of nearly 2,100 government hospitals across
the state. Focussing on maternity and child health, the foundation is

health insurance schemes. “Any parent who can’t afford their child for
treatment can call our helpline (94459 22333) and we find funding to
support them," said Dr Sailakshmi.
